Steven Robert Legendre is a second generation driver in a family forever connected with the sport of stock car racing. Steven has been involved in racing his whole life from helping his dad in the shop on weeknights to going to the track on saturdays.

When Steven began racing in the four-cylinder kid's truck division at White Mountain Motorsports Park's paved quarter mile race track in 2005, he captured 14 wins, 19 top fives and 21 top tens in two years. Steven then moved up to the strictly stock V8 division when he turned 15. Steven was able to sweep not only 6 top tens and 4 top fives, but claimed a win after only his fourth start.

Starting in 2008 Steven began in the late model division at White Mountain Motorsports Park, the highest ranked division at the local short tracks in the north east. He raced his way to 2 wins, 4 top fives, and 9 top tens all in his rookie year. After finishing the 2008 racing season Steven was 6th in points and captured Rookie of the year.

In 2009 Steven once again moved up in racing to the Pro All Star Series North. This series travels all over the northeast from Massachusetts to Nova Scotia and everywhere inbetween. Steven also drove the late model for select events like the famous Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway, and a couple weekly shows at his home track White Mtn Motorsports Park. Steven and the KLR team finished 11th in series ending points.

2010 Legendre moved his racing efforts down past the Mason Dixon line to race in the PASS South series, a touring series like the north but spanning from Tenn to Virginia including North and South Carolina. Steven was teammates with souther star Jay Fogleman and worked out of the JFco shop in Durham NC.

2011 will be another year of change for the KLR team and Steven Legendre. To move closer to Steven's college and home life the team will be moving into the shop of NASCAR Sprint Cup Driver and World Of Outlaws Series Champion Dave Blaney, and the team will continue racing the PASS South series with new sponsor's MAX PAPIS INC USA / MOMO ITALY / and SPY Optic.

I hope to be seeing you around
